Morning Comrades.

Initially, this was meant to have come out on Monday, hot on the heels of the EU elections but I wanted to vent and that left me some time to think on this piece a little, not sure if it helped, but hey, I try my best. Generally speaking I feel there to be a misconception, whether it is wilful, ignorance or born of propaganda is irrelevant, about partaking in the process of “democracy” here in the West and our political plans. The misconception being the irritation of us taking part in elections, local, nation, international, no matter whilst at the same time arguing that the entire construct of “democracy” as we know it needs to be overthrown.

We have already talked about contradictions previously and in a certain way this is about that also, but there is a little more to it. As you know we had elections for the EU parliament here last week and yes, of course, I voted. As bored as I am of the identity-based anti-political reaction within juvenile “leftist” orgs on that matter I am equally enraged that this is even a topic for discussion. Before we start on the building blocks of this reality, starting at Marx, let’s just get it straight and easy once and for all. IF, like myself, though the insanity of biological lottery are born here in the empires core, are caucasian and even more so, “male” ( as far as the perception goes in any case ) then hell, you don’t vote for yourself if you are marxist, but you use your vote to help minimize the potential damage done by the immoral majority within existing governments for those that aren’t you. More importantly, and this is a base jump-off point, political action is a vast area of activity and voting is a tiny part of it. The facetiousness to think that voting is all the political action available and necessary is a cesspool of privilege that I don’t ever entertain and is deeply unserious. So yeah, we vote. Not for us, but for everyone else that the immoral majority likes to put their boot on when their shit blows up on their face. As it usually does.

Obviously, this thought & action process goes deeper than that. With that let’s look at Marx & Engels, what they wrote on the subject, why that even matters today and the philosophy behind it all.

To be sure, for the end of all bourgeois & capitalist rule but against the binary of stupidity.
