Morning Comrades.

Considering the necessary depth and breadth of this topic, this is going to be a two-part dispatch.

We have spoken about “rights” a great deal on here before, mostly, because as an idea so many of us still inherently believe in the divine existence and pre-requisition of them as part of our life’s and nothing could be further from the truth. “Rights” as an idea, as a construct are so utterly powerful that we rarely question their purpose, their history and their creators. Especially, in the last year, as a respected member of the Western Ruled Based Order, Israel ( as a disclaimer, please, by all means read this as intended, brutally sarcastic ), has been exercising its “right to defence” militarily we have been indoctrinated with this seemingly unshakeable idea of “rights”, especially as their pertain to states.

Logically, and I would imagine this to be the case for everyone here, whenever I hear some state ( irrespective of western nation ) organ sprout something along the lines of the “x has the right to defend itself” “the right of the state” my immediate and almost unconscious hateful reply is “The fuck it has”. - as if an innate construct of power has any rights similar to the corrupt US nonsense of corporations and personhood. It’s a logical phalacy and more important a deliberate misuse of a word / construct to hide reality. States have no rights, they at best have obligations but rights? Get the fuck out of here.

With that, let’s get into it. How did we get to the point where we have governments gaslight everyone into believing that they indeed have rights, what is the history and then on Friday, get into the critical dismantlement of this ludicrous idea.

For starters, please feel free to get into this previous discussion on rights:

Rights? Whose Rights?!
