The F**k We Do
Good Morning Comrades! We are going to start today’s email with a couple of words based off a tweet I blasted out a few days ago. I will elaborate on the premise of so-called utopian discussion and the reality of the faulty common left wing discourse in Thursday’s email for those that are part of the supporting comrades to this newsletter, but for now, an elaboration on the status quo and a call to action. I am even paraphrasing Kierkegaard, whom I generally avoid like the plague, so that should make it interesting even for the more spiritual amongst you dear readers.
The corporate state is in trouble and it no longer has any credibility. All the promises of the free market, globalization, the trickle down effect that we have been brainwashed with since the early 80s have been exposed as a lie, an empty ideology used to satiate greed. The elites have no counter argument to our anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist criticism - the attempts to blame the electorial insurgencies in the US by both parties on Russian interference for example, and this is true in Europe as well, rather than massive social inequality, is a desperate ploy, representative of an empire in radical decline. The Western Courts and the corporate press are working feverishly day and night to distract us from reality - the reality that the game is rigged against us, that the planet is being killed for the sake of unshared profit and we are left to pay the bill, which we cannot and thus will suffer.
The moment the elites are forced to acknowledge social inequality, the social inequality that they have engineered and their entire wealth is based on, that this social inequality is the root of our discontent, that is the moment that the elites have to acknowledge their role and responsibility in orchestrating this reality. This will not happen. I am not a psychologist but understand enough that in order to thrive financially under capitalism you have to be psychotic and at the very least narcissistic and we all know how they work.
The Western Governments have become subservient to corporate power, the last vestiges of the rule of law have evaporated, the kleptocrats are pillaging and looting the planet similar to the barbarian hordes at the end of the Roman Empire. Programs instituted to protect the common good, public education, social welfare and environmental protection are all but cancelled in the name profit and the failure to succeed is sold to us as an individual fault, rather than systemic discrimination.
There is no shortage of artists, intellectuals and writers who warned us that this dystopian era was fast approaching but in our dysney-fied world of intoxicating endless images, cult of the self and willful illiteracy, we did not listen. Soren Kierkegaard argued that it was the separation of intellect from emotion and empathy that doomed Western Civilization, for the soul has no role in a technocratic society. The communal has been shattered, the concept of the common good destroyed. On purpose and this is important to understand, this obliteration of the communal was and is by design, the design of the elites, the 1%, as they have always fully understood the power of Marx’s words Workers of the World Unite! You have nothing to loose but your chains. Paraphrased, United We Win, Divided we Fall. The 1% is united across all lands, race, creed and religion and they are winning.
With that analysis comes the clear call, a duty, for radical change, in ourselves, in our perception of the world, our language and our action. Ignore the talking points, the determination of the narratives framework of the 1% by their paid for court jesters and demand the so called impossible. Focus your energy on re-imagining the communal, the care for others, the betterment of the world for all. Disregard their talking points, that are all spewed out in bad faith to clog us down in discussions the 1% have no interest in finding a solution for. Fight the power, yes, by all means necessary and stand up to injustice where and how you can, but it is equally important to focus our energy on imagining and then building the future we all deserve, free from the shackles of capital, greed, division and destruction. We have all the answers already, now it is time to get together and make them happen.
I have decided to re-release one of my personal favourites this weekend with an added twist. As I have been texting over on the Telegram Channel, I have been experimenting with tie dying these past few days, not on a weird GD Hippie vibe but rather on an old Punk vibe, and in addition to the above classic in black, you will have the option to have your shirt customized by yours truly. I’ll explain the process in Friday’s email, and as always, the paying subscribers to this newsletter will be getting an Early Bird Email with their discount on Thursday.
