Silence Is Complicity
Morning Comrades! Almost made it, not only is this the last email of this week it’s also my last email to you from Crete - so back to grim northern Euro shit on Monday. Not surprisingly, it has taken me the entire two weeks to actually calm down enough to spend half a day on the beach doing jack shit yesterday but that’s capitalism for you. In any case, let’s kick off this email with this new drop.
All profits are being donated to Doctors Without Borders, as winter approaches these comrades need any help they can get even more than usual and aside from vaccinations and day to day medical care this money goes towards tents, blankets, food and whatever they deem necessary to help those who need it most. Two versions of this design are available, a t-shirt and a long sleeve and it is the last time I will release this, it’s a year for retiring designs as the creative juices are finally coming back around again, so it is time to make room for new work. Any questions, please drop me a line and click on the images below to get taken directly to the online store.
This is going to be resource heavy email today. I have come across so much good new work over the last few days that I figured today would be a good day to share these with you to take into your weekend.
Before that though, in case you haven’t caught this in the news yet, the WHO amazingly gave the go-ahead for a Malaria Vaccine, which is HUGE news. Watch this:
First up is this piece by Feminist Futures Program, who are part of a think tank called Autonomy UK - thanks to that special comrade for sending me all this - the reason I got interested in this, is because Nick Srnicek, who co-authored one of the best books on Post-Capitalism in the last decade.
The below takes you directly to the FFP part of their site and DO spend time on this.
If you ever need a short introduction on the principles and achievements, we, the so-called “leftists”- and I despise that word - have pulled off by getting together and standing up to the capitalists, start here. Things can get a little overwhelming and a quick stop to look at what we have done, whose shoulders we stand and what is possible helps realign your motivation.
Here is a Youtube Channel that I have been nerding out on for some time and realized I had not shared it until now - don’t be put off by Title, yes it is about Physics but more so, or rather more deeply, it is more about the Philosophy of Science, a field I don’t really belong into but find fascinating nevertheless. Totally worth your subscription, which, unlike this joint, is free.
Of course I have several clips for you to take into the weekend as well, not in any order of importance just watch all of these for maximum enjoyment.
Normally, I would wrap this week with two new banging submissions from Ana and Tatjana but I messed up my time management at this end and we will have to skip them until next week. Vacations can be a little weird like that. Nonetheless, I am going to end this week with a few hot shots for you to share. Smooches to all of you and catch you on Monday.
