Good Morning Comrades! You are going to have bear with me as the main part of my relocation has been achieved, but I am floating around various friendly places this week until I can actually start unpacking come Easter - watch out for a special subscriber special email on the history of that funny holiday this week - but I will do my best to maintain some level of sanity on here.
While we are on that subject, there are a few new drops planned for Black Lodges in these next weeks, some new Riot Gear and some Antifa / Patagonia gear, some collabs and what have you but again, putting that on the back burner for now until I can get my logistics sorted. Supporting this newsletter will not only get you a nice discount on any and all of the above but more importantly keeps the damn lights on over this new roof over our heads. You will get my never ending appreciation and when I do finally start the ultimate dad-bod OF jam, well, you know.
I wasn’t and probably never will be a fan of Lil Nas X music, nevertheless, spank my ass and call me Charlie, that new video to his new song is not only brilliant but the reaction from the conservative spectrum in the US has been nothing but revealing and downright fucking entertaining, if it wasn’t so damn serious. Here is the video and rather than focusing on the hate filled idiots from across the pond I will highlight a few takes from the artist himself, whose worldview I am appreciating more and more by the day.
Speaking of music, you guessed it, new week, new banging 3 hour fuck on the floor and break shit playlist for your pleasure. It’s a wild one, representative of the rollercoaster of the last week in my old home. Some crazy deep cuts from the Iranian psychedelic rock scene of the 70s, to some cocaine loving yacht rock, to new tracks from the world of trip hop to some classic drum n’bass, hip hop and some goth tunes, this playlist will have you begging for more.
Oh and fuck yes we have to talk about boaty boy stuck in the Suez Canal. Not only are the memes the highlight of the weekend but let’s just take a moment to appreciate the fragility and absurdity of capitalism represented by a damn ship stuck in a canal. You couldn’t make this insanity up if you wanted to, well unless you are greedy megalomanic villain of planet destroying proportions but here we are. A few highlights from my side of the screen for yous.
Here are your hot shots from the digital highway to share and get fucked off about.
Looks like I am running out of space on here once again, I have a bucket load more, let’s see if I will drop them into this space come Wednesday. Final word re AOC- read the interview. Seriously. Do not trust politicians, ever, for nothing. My final count is still out on this one, but whatever the DNC and Wall Street have going on, it has to be significant for those statements. I’ll be looking into it. For now, smooches Comrades, stay in trouble, make and be trouble and thank you for being here.
the AOC interview, if anyone had trouble tracking it down:
