Anyone else a little too anxious about this week with the swearing-in of Biden and the neo-liberal wet dream of “normality”? I know I am, not necessarily because of some organic food eating shaman QAnon fascists pulling another stunt but rather the impeding lulling that gave rise to the aforementioned nonsense, rest assured I am putting up my beamer for Wednesday night. We shall see what happens and at this stage I am not willing to make any calls. For now, plenty of good stuff to go through and I wanted to share this thread with you on Bitcoin- I am not advocating it, I know too little about it all to really share an opinion but this topic was raised in a recent RL conversation and thus worth a discussion:
I also wanted to point you to a new book written by Nate Fish called “You’re A Racist: Thoughts on Race in America”.
You're A Racist is a collection of powerful, funny, insightful, somewhat random thoughts on race in America by artist and author Nate Fish. "The notes in this book are simply reflections of my lifelong inner struggle to understand myself and my country,” Fish says. “Some are contradictory, I know. Others are extreme. All, to me, are sensible." You're A Racist (designed by The Independent Group) contains an extended introduction, anecdotes, and protest-style posters of statements ranging from personal to philosophical. One says, "Radicals do not have radical ideas. We have almost embarrassingly childish notions about fairness... We're all born radicals and revolutionaries."
New week, new playlist and I like this one a lot. Granted, last week was a killer week for new music with new albums by both Sleaford Mods and Shame having dropped and you can bet your sweet little tush that they are both in this playlist. Additionally, you’ll find some killer tunes from Les Mamas du Congo, Bob Vylan, The Budos Band, Dylan, the Beach Boys, Sun Ra, Secret Night Gang, Billy No Mates and plenty off-beat tunes to carry you through this week.

Here is your dose of insanity that is our so called normality. None of this is normal.
