Nationalism

A Critique of the Western Fairytale

Morning Comrades.

As the contradictions of Capitalism draw sharper and sharper by the day in the self-proclaimed Western Empire, Nationalism has and will continue to rear its ugly, destructive head, increasingly even within the confines of “leftist” spaces. We have spent several years and multiple dispatches discussing the traps of this reality on here before, and I will send out another dispatch over the next few days that will aim to put all those together but for the time being I wanted to focus on something a little more pointed. That being, a critique and entire rejection of nationalism and identity tied o the idea thereof within the revolutionary struggle against capitalism, here in the heart of the Western Empire. The later part of this sentence being key to the point of all this.

One has to differentiate between several realities. There exists a nationalist revolutionary component in liberatory struggles from European / US domination. Vietnam and Angola are two perfect examples among many. When a people are colonised, they will most likely form a liberatory revolutionary struggle against this colonisation, mostly, because these European practices of Wealth Extraction are and have been extremely brutal in their violence. Ho Chi Minh organized the fight against French and then US occupation not only along the lines of Communism but first and foremost along the lines of National liberation from oppression. This should make sense to everyone.

On the other hand, there exists a poison called Nationalism here in the West that shares nothing with the above example other than its name and its comeback even within the confines of self-proclaimed communist revolutionary struggle, for example within the highly fraudulent American Communist Party is a reality that needs dismantling and put to a final end. If you are looking for a hit piece on the ACP, you will not find it. I will not waste my or your time debunking crypto fascists, youtubers and tiktokers, and potentially subversive agents of the US government that cosplay at revolutionary and do so, badly.

Nationalism as a reality here in the West is a manufactured historical fraud that serves nothing other than subjugation of the Working Classes, pits them against one another to obfuscate the reality of Capitalist dictatorship. Let’s break down it’s creation, past and future trajectory and the tools to defeat them and it.
