Morning Comrades and welcome back to your first of two patreon-only dispatches for the rest of this week. As always, thank you kindly for your time and support of my work. Like most, if not all working people I think about money, a great deal, as it is scarce and hard to make, and whilst putting all revolutionary thinking aside, we exist in a world in which money buys you freedom, and there is a lack of it going around.
This will be at least a two-part dispatch, that I am attempting to wrap up this week. Granted, all of us together could spend our collective lifetimes debating Marxist concepts in and around money but there are two immediately pressing thoughts roaming around my head that I wanted to share with you. One, today’s subject, is a little more historical and political, whereas Friday’s newsletter will focus on realistic, socialist approaches to money, work as well as some important linguistic differences, in the light of assholes and the internet.
The usual pitch before we get into it, the publishing schedule of this newsletter has changed to one free for all newsletter a week and two for the patreons. I have changed the monthly subscription fee to 5USD a month or 50 a year. You can get a free trial for two weeks below, which would make me very happy. Thank you for everyone that does and can do this, it is what keeps our fridge full and this work running.
