Afternoon Comrades.
Venting time and taking stock. Whilst today’s subjects may at first glance seem unrelated they absolutely are not, as a matter of fact they are so utterly related the adage of “people can’t see the forest for all the trees” comes to mind, except, that we are not frolicking in some wondrous forest but are running blindly into the reality that has capitalism has always demanded.
Specifically, and as some of you may have seen on IG yesterday I want to put on record that the self-entitled hostage rescue operation on Gaza was, is and for anyone even still remotely on the fence (you’re semi-welcome here but this should be it) the final proof - again, not that anyone demanded let alone needed it - that the Western power structures, from Washington to London, Paris and Berlin are not only complicit in genocide, but actively involved. Additionally, nothing, and I mean, absolutely nothing these power structures proclaim can be believed, should be believed and shall forever be taken into record for when the time of reckoning comes.
This isn’t about having a gotcha-moment either. Again, it is important to remember that we never punch down, and always up, and those that have died at the hands of our murderous fascist ruling classes care very fucking little that we knew that the “humanitarian pier” the US build on the shores of Gaza was going to be used for imperialist measures - “well, we told you so” - yeah, who cares. People are getting killed for land, xenophobia and various religious cults that hide their imperial ambitions and being right on the internet or anywhere else for the matter is irrelevant. People’s life’s don’t exist for us to be right or wrong.
For the record, however, the majority of Western governments, as pawns for the Capitalist Class, are guilty of everything we can imagine, and worse. The latest massacre is yet another brutal reality check of who we are facing. As clear as it is, it is still important to put into words, to keep record, at the very least, to keep score, to understand who we are dealing with here. Many of us will have read Aimé Césaire's solemn and furious reflections on European "civilization" written half a century earlier — on how Nazism was nothing but colonialism turned back against the people of Europe.
That directly leads us to the second point, the results of the European Elections. Now, the majority of you who read this are from North America and the UK, and whilst the European contingent of readers is growing, it is still the minority, so, bear with me, for a brief catch up. The nation states that constitute the European Union voted over the last days to elect a new parliament. Essentially, it represents a sort of litmus test of the EU’s mood - superficially so - and is an indicator of how each member state will essentially swing come their respective election time.
Not surprisingly, let alone shockingly, the vast majority of the EU voted their hard-nationalist/racist/fascist/capitalist parties into power. Germany, where I live, had to do an extra “I did Nazi-That Coming” bootlick and put its very own AFD into second place - to clarify, the AFD party is so fucking racist/fascist that even France’s very own Le Pen decided to not work with them. But that’s Germany for you and I may tap into that later.
Fact is, this is anything but surprising and I am the last one to give you a half-hearted “analysis” of why and what went wrong and I am sure as fuck not going to waste your or my time trying to sell you the ways and means to stop all this madness. We are materialists, we see the world for what it is and deal with it. And Europe, with its outliers in North America, is at its core capitalist-led and thus racist. As Fred Hampton so aptly called it: “Racism is an excuse used for capitalism, and we know that racism is a byproduct of capitalism.”
The two go hand in hand and Europe, as the colonizing platform de-jour, is racist. Now, we can talk all day about how to combat this racism, but without grasping at the root cause, as the last 200 years of socially orientated struggles have proven, it’s a waste of time. Personally, I have no and will not entertain a moral panic at the logical conclusion of the European Capitalist Project.
All but a few of the so-called "centrist" parties had already backed a fascist genocide to the hilt in the last 8 months, let alone the last 400 years. Our capitalists with their governments and their monopoly on violence have unleashed batons against people clamouring for peace, drowned tens of thousands of people seeking shelter in the Mediterranean, and ransacked Europe's public services for the benefit of the monopolies. Fascism is not an event — it is a process through which liberalism is unmasked and its latent violence comes to the fore.
In Europe, that process has moved in fits and turns for generations. It explains why, in 1900, WEB DuBois warned that the exploitation of the colonized world would be fatal to Europe’s “high ideals of justice, freedom and culture”.
From Asia to Africa to Latin America — from Duong The Hauh to Frantz Fanon to Gustavo Petro — these warnings have sounded again and again throughout history. "Look at what you are doing to us," they say. "The Nazis are already in power." Again and again, they were ignored. If the imperialism of the collective West is sustained by the exploitation of the South, so much of Western identity is built around the hatred of the South: hatred of immigrants, of "authoritarians", of "dictators", of all the little "Hitlers", from Gamal Abdel Nasser to Fidel Castro to Hamas, that the European ruling classes see everywhere but on their doorstep. Anything that challenges their rule or reveals the scale of the damage imperialism has inflicted on this world is shunned or kept from view. Sanction them, drown them in debt, kill them — they do not follow our "European way of life". And then we pretend to be surprised.
This is what our ruling classes have decided to be normal. Since their inception from the French Revolution onwards, they have perfected this modus operandi and in an ever tightening circle of violence and exploitation the rooster is coming home to tear apart the chicken pen. If you wanted to know about the connection to the first part of this dispatch, here you have it.
Our ruling classes have decided the genocide for a control of a region, a beach condo on the Mediterranean, military bases close to oil fields and geo-strategic control is ok, and thus, we need to be ok with it, so they can build another amazon warehouse down the street to feed you shit that will make your bowels bleed for a monthly subscription.
Again. We are materialists and we know this. I know the majority of know this and act accordingly. I wanted to put this record so we have it, we understand it and will not have time wasted with liberal bourgeoise crocodile tears that the bad fascists are now taking over. They have always been in charge and we will always fight them. For we are materialists and we understand that these realities are man made and thus open to change, by us.
Get your guns the pigs are here.
We serve the revolution.
Yours.
