Fake News
Plenty of new friends to welcome on here this week, so a few words about how this works. There are two tiers of emails you can subscribe to, this, the free one, which goes out three times a week with all the usual content that I would have posted on IG and the paid one, where you get an additional email a week that covers subjects dear to me with more depth. You also get a discount code for any and all product that I release and that doesn’t expire. It helps me keeping the lights on over here and is massively appreciated. Also, on that note, do feel free to share this email with as many people as you like, the more the merrier.
Excited to release this collaboration with none other than John Yates / Stealworks this Friday. This will come as both a Long Sleeve and Short Sleeve T-Shirt. Here is a link to a recent interview John did for anyone that wants to know why I am so stoked on working with him again. More info on the above in Wednesday’s email.
These are back! Feel free to click on the above picture to follow this weeks musical deep dive into plenty of pissed off punk, some classics, some rap and obviously some Bowie today. For anyone that is new to these as well, this is nothing but a weekly recap of what I listened to during the previous week. These aren’t curated, these aren’t for internet brownie points, it’s just shamelessly good music for you all to enjoy. That’s it.
How To Be An Anti-Capitalist in a Capitalist World
I mentioned Erik Olin Wright when I started this column and if this is something that interests you, by all means, watch and listen to this discussion.
Before I get into today’s vast array of rage posting I wanted to share this video with you. It is a short interview with the ex-CIA operative John Stockwell who was a CIA paramilitary intelligence case officer in three wars: the Congo Crisis, the Vietnam War, and the Angolan War of Independence. Again, very much worth your time.
Now to it. Just a few words about this first bit of “news” - if the immense corruption, the total failure in handling broth Brexit and the pandemic wasn’t enough, I hope that this last bit willful fuckery is what brings this pot over the proverbial boiling point.
