Morning Comrades.
By the time you are getting this dispatch I will have had a few days off from work, frolicking in the wonderful city of Copenhagen. That also means that this dispatch was written on Friday and thus I am going to keep things short for today. One, for practical reasons, I still have to pack and what not and secondly, I realized that I haven’t done one of these in a while. From a communal relationship point of view this I find vitally important as a matter of fact, this here, Black Lodges as a whole, can only function on a horizontal, equitable construct, some dare call it democratic but that, yet again, is a topic for another day. Also, the day after a good night out with the local chapter of comrades, we went back to my place and I got cooking late night snacks. ( each according to their abilities etc…) - and due to the nature of the material realities of said group at the time, launched into a long ass, heart-felt rant about life, love and communism, consensually, of course:
Long story short, the gang did point out that this community here really doesn’t get access to that Steven, the essays here are of course well thought through ( mostly ) and published with reason and that the part that they have access to on the regular is worthwhile of other peoples time. Communist Life Coach (trademarking this) if you like. You get what I am saying. Hang on, pitching Communist Life Coach tees to the menswear division at Urban Outfitters. Serious question though, I am reading Mark Fisher based on your recommendation, and it's so sad that he committed suicide. The world is full of bs, predatory stories about how great your life can be under capitalism, how can we share/ tell more stories of how great it can be under communism/socialism or whatever one's lefty fantasy may be? Maybe you could spend some time posting on music, fiction, anything that romances this good life toward which we're all working together. I'll start— I just watched the French film, Human Resources, which centers on the struggle for the 35 hour work week here. So good.
Dear commie life coach, what do you recommend when, due to poverty, and despite my best efforts, life has narrowed to joylessness, beating back faceless creditors, bare survival?
