Two special beauties dropping this Wednesday with the above. I’ll drop some teasers over on IG tomorrow and you most appreciated paying supporters will be getting an early access link on Tuesday as well as your discount code.
In other news, my silly electronic device reminded me this morning that a year ago today I went to a bar for the last time, jokingly taking selfies with the gang saying that this impeding lock down would take no longer than a month. A year later, and here we are. I dare not think of the psychological impact this social isolation has had on people that need social interaction more than I do but even so, I can tell that it is having a effect on me. More so on my son admittedly and despite him being a resilient awesome person the cracks are showing and I am starting to look past the materialistic / economic fuck ups of our respective governments here in the global North West and am looking closer at Namoi Klein’s “Shock Doctrine” train of thought/book and what is happening. Again, make no mistake, Covid-19 is damn real and without our communal effort to fight this pandemic nothing is going to happen, yes, social distance, wear a damn mask and stay the fuck away from people, but at this point the support, financially, structurally and emotionally from the people whom we have given power to and entrusted to safeguard our communities in times of need is no longer poor but is appearing to be willfully destructive. The question whether this new, inhibiting reality is becoming a great submissive reality for those in power and whom have insanely profited from this new existence needs asking and as always, it is up to us to build new alternatives for a way out of this and more importantly, past this. Biden’s fuckery over the last few weeks is nothing but illustrative of how the global North West’s “return to normality” is anything but “normal”, let alone sane, healthy and safeguarding us to a better future, and if our governments cannot or will not provide the political will to do just that, what is the point in having them? Questions worth asking in my humble opinion.
Week 79 and yet again it’s another banging, banging collection of new, old, obscure and popular tunes to help you through another week. With new tracks from King Gizzard, Freddie Gibbs, Billy Nomates, some classic late 90s rave jams - blame movie nights reminiscing over extremely unhealthy drug abuse and being in your early 20s, to some classic jams from Prince, Mark Lanegan, Deftones, Massive Attack this beauty of a playlist has all your vibes on offer. Enjoy.
I am going to jump right into a lot of hot shots from the last few days and provide some running commentary where necessary. The fuckening is real and amping up it’s mind-bending insanity. To start off, I think this is a vibe a lot us can relate to at this point into the pandemic, so embrace the horny vibes comrades and do what you can. In the eternal words of Brother Marx: From each according to their ability, to each according to their needs:
The “tolerant” left is a bullshit gaslighting CIA psy-ops tactic and I’ll happily die on that hill. When our existence is built on violence, coercion, hierarchies and oppression you can kiss my angry white, middle aged ass with that non-violent, turn the other cheek bullshit.
This cracked me up all weekend. To those unaware, Nigel Farage is cosplaying racist English Patriot, using hatred for financial gain and partly responsible for Brexit among other things. He’s also a Grade A Twat.
A little too late but I would like to remind everyone of the laughing bankers on Wall Street pouring champagne from the balconies on to the Occupy Protestors after our tax money bailed out these fucking criminals.
This is a big vibe over at my end currently, as I am in the process of moving and have to leave my home at the end of the month. I have been a freelancer for 21 years now, managed well enough and fact of the matter is, I will NEVER be able to buy property here in Europe, simply because freelancers are untrustworthy, unstable people in the eyes of a financial system that judges everyone based on 19th Century ideologies of work and finance. It’s difficult enough finding a new apartment, but owning property is something I have written off for my life. If this doesn’t radicalize you, it damn well should.
Bombing Syria was an expected move from someone deep in the pockets of the US War Machine but assuredly, even I was a little surprised at how early this happened. I posted enough about this bullshit over the last couple of days for you to know where I stand on the issue, but here are some more hot takes from the US’ continued imperialistic war machine.
As a parent, the idea of sending my kid back to school during a deadly pandemic keeps me up at night and despite growing protest from both teachers and parents our government has made it extremely clear that our kids are going back to school, into unsafe, potentially deadly environments. Disgustingly, they are feigning concern about the psychological welfare of our kids as their main driving force, when the reality is that our current system doesn’t allow for children to stay at home and be supervised because everyone has to work to barely survive, our governments will not pay us to stay at home and educate our children and the economic special interest groups are “concerned” with us lowly worker bees slowly realizing that a) our jobs are predominately bullshit, can be achieved in 15-20 hours a week at the same high levels of productivity and that the majority of bosses are useless cunty mini dictators that again, no one needs. I do hope you see a pattern here.
That’s it for today, remember you can share these emails, support them and let me know how all this is working out for you. Smooches Comrades.
