An End To Them
Morning Comrades.
I am leaving today’s dispatch open to everyone, mostly, because I have more questions than answers today and I would genuinely like to hear from you, if you are so inclined.
Also, I am still in the post-work rage adrenaline rage mode so thoughts are a little incoherent still. I woke up this morning to a newsletter from Ryan Grim on the situation in Pakistan- and no this dispatch isn’t specifically about this topic in on itself but read this:
You sit in your bed, getting ready for another gruelling day / night at work and you read these realities and just scratch your fucking head, at least I do. My generation, whatever it is called, I am that old to keep forgetting what that young ones call it - grew up here in Western Europe with the total indoctrination that the US government is the best thing that could have happened to everyone around the world since the invention of sliced bread. Their status of a benign superpower, especially post-Cold War was cemented in our brains through the most powerful propaganda program the world has ever witnessed, and the older you get, the more you get to see the rest of the world and the effects of this image the US Government by means of their capital class have created the more it is shattered, and easily so.
Now, for one, the head scratching doesn’t result from the shattering of this idea, growing up is just that, breaking a lot glass ceilings, but more so the realization that you have a class of people, that have been so utterly ruthless in their domination by any means possible, of the rest of the world for as long as they have colonized the North American Continent that it defies believe. Importantly, I have no real gripe with the working class on that continent, I am fortunate enough to know a few people over there and our similarities despite varying degrees of indoctrination are so vast that genuine friendships have evolved over the last 30 years. My gripe most definitely is, however, with their Capitalist and their proxy bastards that calls itself the US government - and this latest fuckery in Pakistan once again cements this fact.
On the one hand I wonder what our world would have looked like had the Capital Class in the US not engaged in their campaign to fuck everything and everyone around the world for, what, more money? The vast amount of resources that have dedicated since the end of WW2 to subjugate and control seemingly every facet of civilization around the globe to extract as much unwarranted profit once again defies belief. Furthermore, and this more of a personal anger issue - there isn’t even an underlying belief of “right” behind their actions, the total enslavement of the planet by these psychopaths is utterly and solely based on greed - all the noise around their employed racism / fascism / religious extremism is just that, noise, to hide their greed.
Secondly, and this applies to every one of us here in the “west” - no one wants this bullshit. We certainly don’t profit from their most brutal colonization of this planet, the senseless genocide and murder of millions of people, the destruction of an habitable planet - nothing, nada - on the contrary, only for a short period of time after WW2 did one or two generations in the west receive some more breadcrumbs in the shape of healthcare and affordable housing, in Europe at the very least, but that’s that.
Case in point this for example:
Again, this applies to everyone here, we have this class in our respective countries that acts without impunity, in total disregard to any set of morals and / or ethics, is violently oppressive abroad and at home and yet…crickets right? As their violence of the past 600 years is coming home, with the destruction of our habitable planet - and that’s on them - what is it going to take? It genuinely leaves me without ideas - and its not for a fault of not looking for them - but any and all macro / micro academic work into the function of their reality is meaningless in the simple reality that they fuck us, everyone around the world and there ain’t that many of them.
Everyday I am utterly bewildered by the most brutal audacity of these thieving bastards that continue to rule over us with nothing but sheer violence for the sake of more money and our idleness. Don’t get me wrong, I am as much that problem as anyone else but I cannot shake that bewilderment. What’s the tipping point? When do we put an end to the evil that is this capital class? I know, more questions than answers and I need to hit the gym whilst this post-work rush still lingers.
I know we have this, each one of us has to keep pushing, we have to link arms around the world, face some facts and get these bastards out and done with. We have answers ideas and plans on how to do it differently and all that stands in the way is them.
Smooches to you all and thank you for listening.
