All Is Well
The US election is finally upon is and truthfully I have been up since 6am trying to think about what I could say in today’s newsletter and I am still unsure. I believe the various talking points have been made clear and my opinion, as irrelevant as it is has also been made, so what is left to be said? Not much to be perfectly honest.
I’ll say this though: I am going to be up for most of the night watching this and if anyone wants to chat because this just isn’t the dystopia we were expecting, reach out. Obviously, the above has dominated much of attention but this here move by Spotify really pissed and pisses me off. Not only is this akin to the bullshit that ruined IG a few years back this is really shitting on the artists that make Spotify what it is. Saying that, the music labels and Spotify have been shitting on artists since day one but this just takes it up to a level where I am reconsidering even using it. Very much open to hear about alternatives ( don’t fucking apple music at me, please ).
I use Deezer. Not sure its any better or worse but the app works better and I've found older stuff on it that's not on Shitify.
