There is going to be a lot of swear words today

Before I get into today’s fuckening I wanted to share a thought that has been floating around my head again lately.

Granted, the term, the lesser of two evils is predominately used when speaking about U.S. politics, but for fairness sake, that has been the case back in England for as long as I remember, and irrespective of the multi-party system we have across the EU, in principle it is much the same, when all parties, including our very own parliamentary Left are cronies for big business. Nevertheless, our collective democratic apathy is not only increasingly puzzling but life threatening. We give up individual freedoms to enable a representative democracy, empowering our representatives with more “perks” than available to us lowly peasants to make sure we are taken care off. In principle anyhow. What puzzles me the most is that we have seemingly accepted the idea that voting is our only chance of holding all of the corrupt, narcissistic maniacs accountable. Even if we, after all the voter suppression, propaganda, intimidation, actually vote for a change of government, nothing happens. Not only does the government stay in power but the people we are holding accountable have to do no accounting. In most European cases, ex-ministers get a huge life long pension, free healthcare, lower taxes and get a fat consulting corporate job afterwards for all the pro-business laws they passed, none of which work in your favour by the way. Politicians need to be afraid of us again. Yes, if we do decide to stick to this system of democracy we need to start at making politicians accountable right off the bat. No immunity, no perks, no corporate jobs for corruption, and the constant threat of force for not doing their fucking jobs as a start. In any case, an idea that has been floating around for a few days now. Usually I would write these longer texts for the paid-subscription newsletter but I wanted to share this one. We start today with news from my home, England, that illustrates how far a post-covid infected lunatic aka Johnson will go, riding on the high wave of popular nationalism soon to come to the U.S., aka full blown fascism. On Monday, the Covert Human Intelligence Sources bill was put to parliament and passed. Essentially, it grants immunity to MI5 undercover agents, as well as the police, HM Revenue & Customs, the Food Standards Agency and the Gambling Commission for crimes committed, including murder, torture, sexual abuse, to prevent crime. Let that sink in. Last time I checked that was part of the very definition of Fascism. To make matters worse, the Labour party, excluding 20 rebellious Socialists, did not oppose this madness but voted to abstain, essentially allowing this bill to pass.

Returning to our Great Orange Supreme Leader, and I do hope you all have watched the 90 second video clip of his second coming, holy shit balls of fire. This lunatic is still incredibly sick and contagious, quite literally. What was that about accountability again?
