This shirt is now available until Sunday. Due to the shipping sanctions still in place because of Covid-19, all US orders will be made and shipped from the US. Everyone else will get theirs directly from me here from Germany. Click on the image to be re-directed to the online store and if you have any questions just drop me a line. For those of you who have opted to pay for this newsletter, you will be getting a separate email with your discount code.
I wanted to give you a heads up that I will not be writing over the weekends, unless something really crazy happens, and we all know that seems to be the norm these days but as a general rule, weekends are off. All the newsletters are saved as posts on this site so you can go back and actually spend some more time with these. Also, I am going to spending next week more on some singular issues that I have stayed silent on this last month: Biden/Harris and Cultural Nuances on Revolutions where I will speak to a dear friend of mine whose opinions I value. Additionally, I am going to try and tackle essays on the history of the political spectrum and it’s (ir)relevance today and some practical tips on how to organize yourself and your neighborhood horizontally and outside of the existing, oppressive power structures.
I wanted to divert your attention to a publishing company called Brick of Gold who publish writings from incarcerated people in the US prison system. They reached out to me a while ago and I finally found the right place to recommend them and their work to you. Obviously, I am wholly alien to the reality of the US prison system, but from what I have heard and read, it’s horrific, corrupt and does the exact opposite of what it is suppose to do, idealistically anyhow. These writing add a great, unheard, perspective to the narrative.
I find it impossible to actually articulate how much money that translates to, but this antiquated imperialistic war economy and the subsequent decision to use the threat of war as a diplomatic tool just needs to go, and yes, this applies to everyone, not just the U.S., however, considering the sheer size of the U.S. Military and its budget, well.
This ties into the piece I am writing about Biden/Harris. More on that next week. I know most of you know this, but it needs to be said and spoken about daily. No matter who you vote for, the government stays in charge.
Follow Ryan Knight on Twitter. Seriously.
Some 3 hours of music for your weekend, whilst I tune out and dig a little deeper for next weeks playlist.
Lastly, wow, what a first week, right? Anyone else as stoked as I am about doing all this outside of the repressed fascist shit machine called IG? This week alone has done wonders for me in terms of work flow, mental health and comrades, I am actually excited about doing all this, the future and the sheer possibilities that are presenting itself here.
What really helps is your feedback. What are you missing? What can I do better, or more off? Also, please share this with your friends and families, these platforms work best through word of mouth, the more we can get on this train the more we can collectively achieve, and that is the point of all this.
Enjoy your weekend. Keep making trouble.
Yours,
Steven
finally! ❤️
